Q Corp's first annual statewide report, the most comprehensive report on the quality of primary care that established a baseline against which we measure progress toward improving health care in Oregon. We received integrated claims information from Oregon’s largest health plans, created the only existing comprehensive directory of primary care practitioners in the state, produced 2,212 individual reports for practitioners across the state and launched a secure website for practitioners.

This presentation covers the steps Providence Medical Group (PMG) took to develop their Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). It addresses everything from recruitment of advisors, to developing a team, to the different projects they worked on, how they were engaged in leadership meetings, contributions they had made to patient and family centered care, and projects planned for the future.

Program Coordinator Angela Mitchell presented on the role of the Providence Medical Group's Patient and Family Advisory Council, including contributions the council made, projects that were currently in progress and provided further recommendations for patient and family advisor roles.

This presentation touches on the role of the Member Advisory Council in engaging patients and families as leaders in health care transformation, contributions the council had made and their vision for the future. It also highlights the Member Advisory Council's work plan, goals and metrics.
