The Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality and affordability of health care in Oregon by leading community collaborations and producing unbiased information.
Transparency
We bring the health care community together to develop unbiased information about quality, utilization and costs in Oregon. We also provide custom analytics to health care organizations statewide. Our core reports for consumers, employers, providers, health plans, policymakers and others is guided by a multi-stakeholder Measurement and Reporting Committee.
Transformation
We manage a multi-organization partnership, the Patient-Centered Primary Care Institute, to help accelerate primary care transformation in Oregon. Through the Institute, health care providers, clinic staff, technical experts, patients, quality improvement professionals and others come together to share valuable knowledge and resources.
Affordability
We have developed cost of care reports for multiple audiences to help determine variation in utilization and costs and identify ways to make care more affordable. We are collaborating with select groups in Oregon on payment reform projects, bringing together community leaders to develop and implement payment structures that help improve the quality and affordability of care.
