Join us for a discussion about Healthcare Metric and Measure Alignment in Oregon

  • Over the last two years, hundreds of stakeholders across Oregon have told us they are concerned, exhausted and confused by the growing number of healthcare quality and utilization measures.
  • There are now over 2000 validated quality measures that have been endorsed by various accredited organizations.
  • Primary care groups in Oregon are being asked to focus on over 140 different measures promoted by dozens of payers, plans and purchasers.
  • The good news is that significant progress has been made in improving the quality of care in several targeted areas! The bad news is there are unintended consequences of the endless proliferation of measures and fragmented focus.

Would it be possible to align all of the interests and create a core set of measures and metrics that reflect our progress toward achieving the Triple Aim?  Please join us for a virtual, listening and dialogue session with colleagues from across the state on Wednesday, November 11, 2015  to explore the current environment and new possibilities. It is essential that these discussions include voices from across stakeholder groups, and across the state.
