Improving Care for Low Back Pain
The Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation is one of 16 communities selected to continue participation in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Aligning Forces for Quality initiative in 2011. As part of this next phase of work, Quality Corp will coordinate community activities focused on improving care for Oregonians with low back pain and reducing hospital readmissions for patients with congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Improving Care for Low Back Pain
Quality Corp is working with a wide variety of Oregon stakeholders on programs to improve care for Oregonians with low back pain. These programs include developing and disseminating an Oregon-specific guideline for low back pain care and measuring and evaluating pilot programs aimed at improving care.
