Oregon Health Care Quality Corp Committees

Board

The Oregon Health Care Quality Corp Board provides vision and oversight of projects and ensures integration with Quality Corp strategic plan. The Board advocates for the organization among community stakeholders, manages the Quality Corp Executive director, approve budget and assure sound financial policies and processes, and coordinates fundraising strategy, and addresses barriers to the organization’s mission and goals.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee meets every two months to address Board business in the interim between full Board meetings.

Finance Committee

Provides financial oversight to the organization and makes recommendations to the Board regarding financial policy and operations.

Audit Committee

As an independent representative of the organization, the Audit Committee works with the outside auditor.  The committee approves selection of the auditor, meets with the auditor, reviews the financial statements, communicates concerns and findings to the Board, and reviews auditor performance.

Sustainability & Marketing

Ensures that the Oregon Healthcare Quality Corp provides sustainable value to its stakeholders through the identification and implementation of projects, services, and programs which will improve the quality of care in Oregon.

Governance

The Governance Committee ensures the Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation mainatins the right balance of stakeholders with diverse expertise and broad, established and trusted networks that may contribute support, ideas, resources, or funding to the organization. The committee assesses and recommends Board composition and slate of officers and directors, and regularly reviews the adequacy of the Bylaws and Charters of Board committees in order to ensure conformance with any principles of corporate governance.

Partner for Quality Care Committees

Program Committee

The Program Committee provides direction, policy and management oversight of the Partner for Quality Care initiative. This committee acts in an advisory role, approving key decisions, work plans and committees, as well as, recommending a budget. They are the advocates for the initiative’s vision and goals with stakeholders

Measurement & Reporting Team

The Measurement & Reporting Team provides technical direction and coordination of partners representing all stakeholders for the Partner for Quality Care initiative. Their responsibilities include soliciting input from all stakeholders; recommending measurement sets, data collection policies and processes, data sharing agreements and terms, reporting formats, and data releases.

Consumer Engagement

The Consumer Engagement Team provides direction and recommendations to reach consumer engagement objectives. They are instrumental in soliciting and evaluating consumer input, coordinating activities for working with consumer engagement partners and advocate for consumers on a host of issues, including development of a consumer-friendly website collection of patient experience data.

Clinical Work Group

The Clinical Work Group, with representation from key physician groups in the state, will be the primary advisory committee on highly technical decisions on Voluntary Electronic Medical Record based measurement and Quality Improvement activities.
